The SEC is moving towards implementing the 6-1-1 schedule, with each team playing one permanent cross-division game and one rotating cross-division game per season, writes Jon Solomon of The Birmingham News.

Expect the SEC to come to some sort of unified postseason stance this week in Destin. Commissioner Mike Slive told the Associated Press that he's in favor of the four-team playoff, not a plus-1.

Tennessee quarterback Tyler Bray and Arkansas quarterback Tyler Wilson will attend the Manning Passing Academy this summer in Thibidoux, La., writes Patrick Brown of the Chattanooga Times Free Press.

The position in Arkansas' athletic department formerly occupied by Jessica Dorrell is open again, according to Chris Bahn of ArkansasSports360.com. No word on if it comes with a $20,000 under-the-table signing bonus.
