WWE: Now Is the Time to Turn Dolph Ziggler Loose from Jack Swagger
On Monday's episode of Raw, Dolph Ziggler and Jack Swagger suffered another loss as a tag team to WWE Tag Team Champions Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. At first, it seemed like another moment in which Ziggler was buried by his uncharismatic partner. Then, a thing of beauty happened.
Ziggler stormed out of the ring while screaming at Swagger and Vickie Guerrero "I'm better than this." Later in the evening, Ziggler was seen backstage talking to Guerrero as Randy Orton paraded around the ring.
Ziggler said, "that should be me," while pointing at Orton; and the wheels were seemingly turning toward a breakup that many fans have been dying to see.

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
The whole Swagger/Ziggler partnership was another desperate attempt by the WWE to get Swagger over with the crowd as a mid-card heel. The result of the pairing has been Ziggler getting overlooked when the creative team is looking at people to get pushed.
Ziggler is one of the best young superstars in the WWE today, and it's been borderline mind-blowing that he has yet to be thrown into the main event picture. While Ziggler has had several title shots, the WWE refuses to put him in a spot where he can become a household name.
It was thought that once Ziggler dropped the United States Championship to Zack Ryder at the Tables, Ladders, and Chairs pay-per-view last December, his push would be imminent. Instead, the WWE gave him a cup of coffee at the Royal Rumble and he went back to jobbing for Brodus Clay.
Ziggler simply deserves better in terms of getting into a big rivalry with a big name and then catapaulting himself into the next level. He won't be able to do that with Swagger in his corner.
Turning Ziggler loose would be a little difficult in that if he kicks Guerrero to the curb, he might become a face. That could result in disaster, and Ziggler's quest for the big push would be back to square one.
The best way to do this is to have Guerrero and Ziggler team up and dump Swagger so that Dolph can move on to bigger and better things. Having Ziggler in the main event would give the WWE another young superstar to lean on as they try to build some sort of talent pool.
That would seem to be imminent after tonight's events; however, the WWE has made poor decisions before. The answer is to turn Dolph Ziggler loose right now and give him the opportunity to become a household name in the WWE.
