Predictions:
I know it's almost cliche at this point, but I can't count out Rafael Nadal on the clay courts of the French Open. He's absolutely dominant on clay, that's not even a question, and he's been looking very good as of late.
The only person who may be able to stop him is world No. 1 Novak Djokovic on skill and merit alone, but this is Nadal's tournament to lose.
On the women's side, it's tough not to note what Maria Sharapova did at the recent WTA Internazionala BNL d'Italia and be impressed. She won the tournament, defeating No. 13 Ana Ivanovic in the third round, Venus Williams in the quarterfinals, then No. 12 Angelique Kerber in the semifinals and No. 8 Li Na in the final.
Sharapova is on a roll right now and I don't see her slowing down at Roland Garros 2012.
