According to the Sunday Mirror, Manchester City lead the list of potential suitors for the Dutch forward's signature, should he fail to re-sign with Arsenal.
City will open with a bid of £20 million, according to the Mirror. Real Madrid, Barcelona, Juventus and Russia's Anzhi Makhachkala have also been linked with Van Persie.
Sessegnon to City?
2 of 9In other Man City news, the Blues are lining up a move for Sunderland's creative midfielder Stephane Sessegnon. Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur have also shown interest.
According to the Daily Mirror, City would be willing to double the £6 million Sunderland paid for Sessegnon in January 2011.
Now there's a surprise.
Del Piero Done in Italy?
3 of 9Italian legend Alessandro Del Piero has played his final match for Juventus, and now it appears he has also played his last match in Italy.
According to talkSPORT, Del Piero said he won't play for another Serie A team after leaving this summer.
""I don't think I'll be playing in the Champions League or in a particular league, I'll choose the best solution for me and my family will follow me.
"I'd like to thank all of the Italian teams who have approached me with offers. But obviously I could never play in Italy for any other team."

Sir Alex Not Quitting?

Other reports, however, claim Di Matteo still doesn't know what his future holds.
Van der Wiel In? Ivanovic Out?

First, the European champions are reportedly close to signing full-back fGregory van der Wiel rom Ajax for about £8 million.
Van der Wiel (pictured, center) would potentially serve as a replacement for Branislav Ivanovic. That's because Ivanovic has been drawing heavy interest from Real Madrid.

According to Metro, Spurs' bid was £14 million.
Leandro Damiao, 22, has represented Brazil five times at the senior level.

8 of 9After a successful first season in the English Premier League, Swansea City are reportedly set to shatter their transfer record for Icelandic midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson.
Sigurdsson, 22, joined the Swans on loan from Hoffenheim in January and impressed from the start, drawing interest from Arsenal.
M'Vila to Decide After Euro 2012
9 of 9Yann M'Vila is reportedly saying he'll decide his future after Euro 2012.
M'Vila, 21, is expected to play an integral role for Laurent Blanc's France squad.
In addition to Arsenal, Inter have also shown interest in the midfielder, who currently plays for Rennes.
