Pacquiao vs. Bradley Predictions: 3 Reasons Bradley Will Force a Decision

Jesse ReedJun 6, 2018

Tim Bradley is going to push Manny Pacquiao to the limit and force a decision when they face off at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Both men are known more for their quickness than for their power, so knockouts will be at a premium. This fight will end in a decision, of that there is no doubt.

Here are the three biggest reasons that Bradley will take Pacquiao to the final bell.

Bradley Has a Master Plan

Bradley spoke to BoxingSocialist.com recently and told them:

"

I'm going to expose some things, other fighters haven't done yet against Pacquiao. You know every fight I say 'I'm a win, I'm a win' even though everybody say I'm a win, difference is I have a plan. With me and my team man, we roll together man Pacquiao will be dethroned that night and I do have a great plan man.

"

It's hard to argue with him on this point, due to the fact that Bradley is undefeated to this point in his career, sitting at 28-0.

We all know Pacquiao can take punishment. He has been in some major battles with the likes of guys like Erik Morales, Marco Antonio Barrera, Manuel Marquez and Oscar de la Hoya. He isn't going to be knocked out by Bradley, who everyone knows doesn't possess one-punch knockout power.

That being said, Bradley will have a plan throughout the match that will allow him to stick with Pacquiao. He will, at the very least, last the full 12 rounds, even if it's in defeat.

Bradley Can Take Pacquiao's Punishment

The biggest key for Bradley in this match will be whether or not he can take Pac-Man's best shots and keep on ticking, according to Lamont Peterson, via boxingchampions.co. Peterson thinks that if Bradley can endure the barrage that's sure to come from Pacquiao, he'll end up winning the fight.

While I'm not as convinced about him winning the fight as Peterson, I do agree that Bradley can take the punishment.

Bradley has won in the past against hard hitters like Luis Abregu, who won most of his matches by knockout. He will be able to withstand Pacquiao's onslaught and force the judges to decide the fight after 12 rounds.

Pacquiao's Last Four Fights Have Gone the Distance

Pac-Man hasn't been putting people away early lately. His last four fights have all been decided by the judges' scorecards, and the fight before that against Miguel Cotto was a TKO in the 12th round.

Throughout his long and successful career, Pacquiao has knocked out many a competitor, but over the course of his last ten fights he's only recorded three knockouts.

Bradley is quick enough, tough enough, skilled enough and determined enough to take Pac-Man to the final bell in this upcoming match. He won't be bullied around or intimidated by the legacy of the man standing in front of him in the ring.

He will take Pac-Man to the limit and force the judges to decide who won the fight.
