WWE News: WWE's Viral Revolution Campaign Revealed (Spoiler)

First, let me start by saying that this is a potential spoiler. So for those of you that hate spoilers, please stop reading.

So for weeks now WWE.com has been teasing us with a viral video hinting of a Revolution.

As of this week, the video let fans know that the Revolution begins on May 28th. Now, many fans have speculated that this could lead to the return of alleged recent TNA cast-off Matt Morgan. However, that now does not appear to be the case.

Wrestlezone.com reports:

"the WWE Revolution campaign that is on WWE.com is not for a new character that will debut with the company.

Instead of a new character, it appears that the campaign is being used for the release of the new WWE '13 video game that is set to be released in October. The reason that they are putting together this video is because of the E3 Video Game Convention that is being held in early June.

Well as exciting as a WWE '13 tease is, it would have been much better if it were the launch of some sort of angle against Johnny Ace. Ultimately, the WWE might have fell short on any sort of storyline after this much hype. Sadly, to date the WWE has failed to produce great things after viral campaigns.

Need I mention Chris Jericho's much anticipated return?

In the end, this could just be a rumor and the WWE may have something much bigger planned. Although, one would think that they would have utilized Raw or SmackDown instead of WWE.com to promote a bigger "Revolution".
