Pacquiao vs Bradley Predictions: Why Decision Would Be Loss for Pac-Man

Eric BallJun 7, 2018

Boxing fans are sick of watching Manny Pacquiao sneak by in his bouts…we want to see a knockout.

When PacMan squares off against Timothy Bradley on June 9th, he’ll do so knowing he needs a knockout to restore the faith fans are beginning to lose in him.

Sitting with an eye-popping 54-3-2 (38 KOs) record, there is no doubt he is one of the best pound-for-pound boxers to come along in the last 25 years. Nobody can take that away from him.

But if he wants to avoid the lasting memories of his career to be a string of weak wins by decision, he has to make a statement. His controversial win over Juan Manuel Marquez left people wondering if the fight was fixed, if the judges were corrupt, if boxing officials ensured he got the win.

He can’t have another outing like that.

Bradley has been talking all kinds of trash leading up to the fight and Pacquiao has let everything slide.

PacMan may not be like Floyd Mayweather, but he has to use his experience to bait Bradley into playing his style of boxing. He has to give Bradley a chance to get caught up in the moment.

He must let Bradley be the aggressor so PacMan can set back and systematically counter him to death. Against Marquez last November, Pacquiao seemed to really struggle in the middle rounds after taking a beating early on.

He has to avoid taking a ton of damage early so he can finish strong in the later rounds…when the knockout comes into play.

Pacquiao is well overdue for a knockout. His last came all the way back in 2009 against Ricky Hatton. If PacMan wants his fight against Mayweather to be the most hyped of all-time, he needs to go into the bout beaming with confidence.

Anything short of a KO is going to leave fans wondering what round Pacquiao gets knocked out in against Money May.
