With a disappointing Over the Limit pay-per-view last Sunday followed by an error-filled episode of Raw SuperShow, the WWE are in desperate need of something to help their disappointing storylines as of late.

Following the exciting return of Brock Lesnar to the WWE after WrestleMania, the company has steadily gone downhill as the focus has shifted to John Laurinaitis and his ridiculous People Power movement.

Here are the details from PWInsider (via WrestlingInc.com) on the feelings of those behind the scenes, and how they feel about the current WWE product.

"

A lot of people withinย WWEย are talking about how the company has went back to having pretty much no direction in the storylines. The feeling is that things were looking up afterย WrestleMania 28ย whenย Brock Lesnarย returned but with the People Power era and the push of Johnย Laurinaitis, things have started to go back downhill.

"

Following his awful match with John Cena at Over the Limit, the WWE desperately needs to realize that John Laurinaitis is not the kind of heel authority figure that gets the fans interested like Vince McMahon did in the Attitude Era.ย

As is mentioned above, the WWE was going in the right direction and was actually exciting to watch after the return of Brock Lesnar and his classic bout with John Cena at Extreme Rules.

The only hope for fans of the WWE is that the company grasps that Laurinaitis doesnโ€™t need to be the focus of the show each week, and instead brings it back to the most important element of the showโ€”the superstars.

With the WWE in a bit of a downward spiral as far as the current storylines are concerned, what would you do to help the company return to the success they were experiencing following WrestleMania?
