WWE News: WWE's Brazil Debut in Jeopardy; Jericho and Punk Update Fans
Wednesday night was supposed to mark the debut of WWE in Brazil.
This should be a huge deal for the company as they continue to attempt world-wide dominance.
However, it appears that they may not be able to make this event. According to wrestlinginc.com:

"WWE may not be able to debut in Sao Paulo, Brazil later today due to a canceled flight here in the United States. The RAW crew was looking for a place to stay in Virginia last night and everything was up in the air regarding getting a new flight and getting to Brazil in time for the show.
"
Unfortunately, the fans in Brazil may lose out this time around, although I highly doubt that the WWE will just roll over and give up on Brazil. Chances are they will make sure they get there either later in the year or sometime next year.
Luckily for fans, we live in the world of social media and up to the minute updates, so we were able to get reaction from two prominent wrestlers via Twitter.
"
"Flight to Sao Paulo cancelled. Mad scramble to find a place to sleep tonight. Status of show unknown. Sorry everybody we'll keep u posted!
— Chris Jericho (@IAmJericho) May 23, 2012"
"Brazil looks a lot like Virginia. #mechanicalproblems
— CM Punk (@CMPunk) May 23, 2012""Flight canceled.Everything just went sideways.Sorry San Paulo, we're working on it. Keep ya posted...

Clearly, both men realize the importance of this show and still managed to keep fans up to date. As it stands right now, WWE has not made a formal announcement regarding this situation, but I imagine that as the day goes on, they will need to address the matter.
Ultimately, if you are reading this and live in Brazil, I wouldn't hold your breath on attending the show. Also, I hope that it's a postponed show and not completely cancelled. Let's face it, trying to get a refund and then having to repurchase tickets for another time can be a bit daunting.
Overall, we all know the WWE will make sure fans in Brazil get their show. When it happens, it will be great.
