NBA Playoff 2012 TV Schedule: Game Times and Predictions for Rest of 2nd Round

David DanielsJun 7, 2018

Vacation is a nightmare.

While the Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs wait for Sunday to roll around, the Eastern Conference’s final four are two games away from either sulking on a beach or competing for an NBA finals berth.

Here are the TV schedule and predictions for the remaining second-round matchups (via NBA.com).

Boston Celtics at Philadelphia 76ers: Wednesday, May 23 at 8:00 p.m. EDT on ESPN

No one in this series has yet to win back-to-back games. The 76ers just got demolished 101-85, but they’re still confident after proving doubters wrong about their ability to compete with the Celtics. In a must-win game, Philly will come out on fire and force a Game 7.

Miami Heat at Indiana Pacers: Thursday, May 24 at 8:00 p.m. EDT on ESPN

Just a heads up for the Pacers: When getting inside the Heat’s heads, the goal is to make them nervous, not enraged.

Miami has regained all of the momentum heading into Game 6, and they’d love nothing more than to end the pesky Pacers’ season in Indiana just to rub it in. With Danny Granger not 100 percent, Miami will accomplish just that.

Philadelphia 76ers at Boston Celtics (If Necessary): Saturday, May 26, TBD

As fiery as the 76ers are, they won’t be able to knock out the Celtics. Rajon Rondo, Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce and Ray Allen know how to win in Game 7 better than any quartet in the NBA. At the TD Garden, Philadelphia doesn’t have a shot.

Indiana Pacers at Miami Heat (If Necessary): Saturday, May 26, TBD on ABC

If the Pacers somehow stay alive, they actually have a better chance to win Game 7 than they did Game 6.

Despite the contest being on the Heat’s home court, just imagine in the pressure on LeBron James and company—absolutely overwhelming. If Miami fails to take care of business in Game 6, Indiana will make them pay and end their season in Game 7.
