WWE Rumors: John Cena, Big Show, SmackDown Spoilers and Wednesday's Top WWE News
WWE is playing a very delicate balancing act with itself. There are times when it just completely loses itself and has no idea how to get back up. But there are instances when something works so well that hope returns for everyone watching.
Right now, there is not that one dynamite angle that has everyone on the edge of their seat. All that can change with one great promo—no one was talking about CM Punk at this time last year—but it takes a lot to shock a WWE audience into a frenzy.
Repeating the same matches that have been played out hundreds of times—like John Cena vs. Big Show—is not going to ignite that fire in the creative team anyone needs. If two performers, like Punk and Daniel Bryan, were given autonomy to book their own program, that could be something special.

JOHN LAURINAITIS BOTCHES BIG SHOW-JOHN CENA STIPULATION
Johnny Ace is not very good at his job. He always stumbles over lines or forgets something important. On Monday night, he completely botched a line that had fans crying outrage on Twitter. As a result, WWE was forced to have Michael Cole clarify Laurinaitis' gaffe.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What was the botch?
Our Take: If you recall, last week a stipulation was set for the Cena-Laurinaitis match, where if any WWE superstar interfered they would be fired. Laurinaitis said on Raw he re-hired Show on Saturday. Therefore, he should be fired. Instead, Cole had to chime in and say that they had a handshake agreement with no formal contract.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Signs WWE Is The New WCW
WWE has gotten so clustered because it is constantly changing stories and adding stipulations to throw fans off that it can't even keep its stories straight. It's really sad and pathetic that it has come to this, but that's what Vince McMahon wants.

THE ROCK FEELS THE WRATH OF TRACY MORGAN
The Rock has not been seen on WWE television since the day after WrestleMania, but that doesn't mean his return went unnoticed by people in Hollywood. Former Saturday Night Live cast member and current 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan cut a promo on Rock going back to WWE during an appearance on Conan Tuesday night.
""Do you know Rock is wrestling again? That's how bad [the economy is] getting out there. He has to put them tights back on... I want to know what happened to that 'Witch Mountain' money, Dwayne?"
"
Question on Everybody's Mind: What did happen to all that Witch Mountain money?
Our Take: Rock probably spent it on buying John Cena some fancy new jorts. WWE should play Tracy Morgan into an angle when Rock comes back. With 30 Rock coming to an end next season, Morgan could get some promotion for the show and eat a Rock Bottom for his words.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Stand-Up Comedians
Rock's wrestling return surprised a lot of people. He was in a position where he didn't have to do anything for WWE, yet he decided to do something for the fans. He was handsomely rewarded for his appearances, but could have lost a whole lot more if he had gotten hurt.

SIN CARA BACK TO SMACKDOWN ON JUNE 1
Earlier this week, it was revealed that Sin Cara was starting to wrestle on house shows. That led to obvious speculation about when the masked superstar would be making his triumphant return to television. SmackDown this week provides the answer, with a vignette saying he will be back on next week's show.
Question on Everybody's Mind: What is Sin Cara's future in WWE?
Our Take: It all depends on how well his merchandise continues to sell upon returning. If his ridiculously overpriced mask is getting kids interested, he is going to be put on pay-per-view shows and in the occasional spotlight match. If not, he will be the new Miz.
Hype Meter: 4 out of 5 Masked Men
Sin Cara came into the company with a lot of hype, and was one of the biggest stars in Mexico before his arrival. He had a lot of potential, but WWE being WWE, the people in charge tried to deconstruct his ego because you have to act the way they want you to. Hopefully he is put in a position to succeed, as he has a nice star presence.

ALBERTO DEL RIO GETTING A ONE-ON-ONE MATCH WITH SHEAMUS...PROBABLY
Alberto Del Rio was supposed to wrestle Sheamus in a singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship at Over The Limit before WWE decided no one wanted to see that and made it a Fatal Four Way with Randy Orton and Chris Jericho. WWE is going back to the singles match for No Way Out, as Del Rio defeated Orton and Kane in a triple-threat match to earn the shot.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Will WWE change the match again?
Our Take: I would like to give an honest answer, but with this company, you never know what's going to happen. Since Orton and Jericho appear to be on a crash course of their own, WWE doesn't have them to fall back on to give the match more mainstream appeal.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Personal Ring Announcers
I think that what WWE did at Over The Limit did more damage to Sheamus and Del Rio than anything. The company should have just come out and said, "We know no one cares about our world champion and his challenger, so here are two names you do like." It's so sad but typical in today's WWE.
