Eden Hazard: Why Chelsea Are a Better Fit for Lille Star Than Manchester United

Eden Hazard would have a better Premier League career at Chelsea than at Manchester United, because the new European champions need a talented goal-scoring winger more than the Red Devils do.

The Daily Mail has reported that the 21-year-old star has taken into account the Blues' impressive European triumph while deciding where to play in the Premier League next season:

Eden Hazard has opened the door on a move to Stamford Bridge by admitting that Chelsea's Champions League victory has made a difference to his plans. 

The Lille playmaker is heading for the Barclays Premier League and says he wants his future decided by Saturday week, when he will play for Belgium against England at Wembley.

United don't need Hazard because Nani gives the 19-time league champions the goal-scoring threat they need at the left wing position. The Portuguese winger is also a much better playmaker than Hazard.

Chelsea did not get much goal scoring this season from their left-sided attacking players this season.

Wingers Juan Mata, Salomon Kalou and midfielder Florent Malouda scored a combined nine goals in league play this season, and none has the speed or shooting ability that Hazard does.

With Hazard in the fold, Mata would be able to focus on being more of a playmaker on the left flank or in the middle of pitch. He led the club with 13 assists in league play this year, more than twice the amount of assists as anyone else.

Hazard's talent would be used better at Chelsea, and the London club need him more than Manchester United do.

The best Premier League location for Hazard is clearly Stamford Bridge.
