WWE Over the Limit 2012 Results: Big Show Turns Heel, His Top Five Turns
The main event of WWE Over the Limit 2012 saw a not-so-shocking heel turn as the Big Show returned to attack John Cena and cost him his match against John Laurinaitis.
The turn made sense, and was congruent with the stipulations of the match as Big Show is not currently a WWE employee per the WWE storylines.
The Big Show is no stranger to the heel turn, as he has turned heel so many times it's a surprise he isn't wearing a protective boot.
5. Big Show Aligns with Shane McMahon, Takes out Taker
1 of 5Back when The Undertaker was the American Badass, he was on the wrong side of a Big Show heel turn as the giant stormed the ring through the crowd.
The detestable son of WWE Chairman Vince McMahon looked to be in no man's land as the Big Show begged Taker for a shot at Shane.
Taker made the mistake of turning his back on the Big Show, and was heeled on as a result.
4. Big Show Saves Vickie Guerrero, Turns on Taker Again
2 of 5Vickie Guerrero's fate was about to be sealed by the Undertaker, but not before the smiling giant came out to confront the villainous authority figure.
As the Undertaker made his way to the ring and prepared to read Guerrero her last rights, Big Show suddenly attacked the Undertaker, thereby aligning himself with Guerrero as her bodyguard turned storyline lover.
3. Unemployed Big Show Returns, Punches out John Cena
3 of 5Another unwanted feud between Big Show and John Cena seems to be impending as Big Show made his return to the WWE as a heel after being fired on Monday Night RAW.
The last time we saw Show, the monster was reduced to tears and brought down to his knees in an unsuccessful effort to keep his job.
Show returned at WWE Over the Limit to help John Laurinaitis, the man who publicly fired him, thus prolonging the era of People Power.
2. Big Show Defeats RVD for ECW Championship
4 of 5Big Show's move to ECW was well received even by hardcore ECW fans at the time. But his screwjob victory over ECW original Rob Van Dam nearly caused a riot, creating enough emotional unrest by the fans to be an effective heel turn.
Show received help from Paul Heyman, who cost RVD his second world championship in as many days as RVD was subject to a real-life suspension for possession of marijuana.
1. Big Show Returns to the WWE, Turns on Rey, Fights Floyd Mayweather
5 of 5The road to WrestleMania XXIV took form at WWE No Way Out 2008 in one of the most dramatic scenes in WWE history.
A leaner, meaner Big Show returned sporting a slimmer frame as he cheerfully reunited with the WWE Universe.
Show went from zero to monster in seconds as he attacked Rey Mysterio, who was ringside nursing an injury. This brought out Floyd Mayweather, who was in attendance for the event, as Big Show egged on the undefeated welterweight and challenged him to a fight.
After getting down on one knee, Mayweather drilled Big Show with a series of stiff punches, legitimately breaking Big Show's nose.
