Arsenal Transfer Rumors: Robin Van Persie Won't Be Able to Turn Down Anzhi

Anzhi Makhachkala is preparing an offer for Robin Van Persie that he will not be able to refuse. The Russian club is desperate to keep climbing the ranks of the football world, and they have reportedly targeted RVP to help them do that. 

They are going to have to overpay to pull this off, and they are prepared to do just that.

The Daily Mail has the rumors:

"Guus Hiddink’s Anzhi Makhachkala are preparing a sensational £45million bid for Arsenal striker Robin van Persie."

They went onto report that the total was for three years.

This is way more than RVP is going to get from any EPL team, or any other team anywhere for that matter, and that is not even considering the fact that the money from the Russian side would be tax free. 

Now, RVP taking this money is no forgone conclusion. He would be taking a massive dip in talent, as he would be going from one of the most prestigious leagues in the world to one that gains little international acclaim. 

He is also going to have plenty of options. Arsenal will be trying to sign him for top dollar, and he will be generating plenty of interest from top EPL teams. 

RVP is coming off of a magnificent season, and his contract with Arsenal is nearly up. He will have a choice of becoming a integral part of a proven winner or staying with his current side and a fanbase that loves him. 

Both of these will ultimately lose out to Anzhi. Ego is going to take over, and he will jump ship. Aside from the fact that he will be making a boatload of cash, RVP will undoubtedly have the belief that with his addition he can turn Anzhi into an elite side. 

Also, don't underestimate the club's ability to charm him. They are making strides, and with the kind of cash they are willing to chuck around, they will be able to convince him that they are on the verge of building something elite. 

That is all going to prove to be more than RVP can pass on.
