AC Milan Transfer News: Santos Midfielder Ganso's Agent Is in Milan

Thiago Ferro, the representative of Santos star Paulo Henrique Ganso arrived in Milan yesterday and speculation is that AC Milan and Santos will work towards a deal.

Ganso is one of the most sought-after players in the world along with his teammate Neymar, with both stars from the reigning Copa Libertadores champions being linked to the biggest clubs in the world of football.

It seemed for a time that Manchester United were the most likely to acquire the 22-year-old, but last summer it was revealed that the two clubs of Milan, AC Milan and Inter Milan, were the finalists for his signature.

Milan have been using their Brazilian connections to try and land the young star. Milan center back and captain of the Brazilian national team Thiago Silva has been in conversation with his compatriot trying to lure him to the San Siro.

The desire for Ganso has never faltered and so it is entirely possible that a move is on the way. However, any such move would not develop until sometime next week, as Milan CEO Adriano Galliani is in Monaco for a gathering for the UEFA Champions League final.

Ganso is believed to be valued at about €30 million by Santos. There is a small possibility that if a deal is made, Milan could add Robinho into the mix as the Brazilian club would love to re-sign their former star.
