Rogier Meijer Video: Watch Little Girl Console Dad in Cutest Moment in History

After watching this video, I literally stood up and hugged my computer. 

The sudden moment of affection was only slightly due to the fact that I work from home and haven't seen a real human being for hours. 

The bigger reason was a little girl wanting nothing more than to see her father happy. Damn it, going to hug my computer once again. 

Every once in a while, the Internet gives you a moment so special that you will remember it for a lifetime, or at the very least the rest of the week. 

Today's brilliant video comes in the form of a soccer team dealt a relegation blow, a father dealing with the loss on the pitch and a little girl going to cheer up the big guy.

Rogier Meijer is a midfielder for Dutch football team De Graafschap, who were just relegated from the Eredivisie following a 1-1 draw with FC Den Bosch on Sunday.

Sinking down a division is certainly reason to pout on the pitch, but it all gets put into perspective by a little girl that just wants to see her big strong hero happy...feel another hug coming on. 

This is just one of the reasons I plan on not having a daughter. For one, I can't handle the cute and would spend too much money spoiling her. 

Second, I don't want to have that awkward conversation that features the rule that she can date right after her 32nd birthday.
