Big Show Fired: Ugly Scene Gives Fans Another Reason to Despise John Laurinaitis

Eric BallJun 7, 2018

John Laurinaitis and his ego are out of control.

The latest example came last night on Monday Night Raw when he absolutely embarrassed the Big Show.

After spending 18 years with the company, Show’s job was on the line because he made fun of his raspy voice. Laurinaitis distracted Big Show in his match against Kane, which caused him to lose, despite leading for the vast majority of it.

Then he was belittled by Laurinaitis and was forced to get on his hands and knees to beg for forgiveness. Show was brought to tears (great acting job) and looked incredibly pitiful as he bowed down to the evil Laurinaitis, begging to keep his job.

Well it didn’t work, and Big Show was fired from the WWE and kicked to the curb for absolutely no reason.

This comes on the heels of Laurinaitis humiliating John Cena and injuring his shoulder, essentially calling Triple H a pansy for getting his arm broken by Brock Lesnar, forcing CM Punk to take on Lord Tensai and Daniel Bryan at the same time while forcing the WWE champion to get in the ring for a tough match seemingly every Monday.

Ever since he became the general manager of Raw and Smackdown, the whole “People’s Power” regime has been insane. Laurinaitis is on a power trip of epic proportions and it’s ruining the spirit of WWE.

Big Show is a WWE legend, and has been around far longer than Laurinaitis has. The way he made Show cry was painful to watch; fans were seen cringing in agony as they watched one of their heroes belittled by a suit.

Now the disdain for Laurinaitis is at an all-time high, which is the perfect set up for when Cena faces the boss this Sunday at Over the Limit.

I envision Cena dedicating the match to the Big Show and proceeding to pulverize the much smaller Laurinaitis, forcing him to bring Show back on board. He’ll knock some sense into him and put the general manager in his place, restoring order in what’s been a wacky 50 days since WrestleMania.

Big Show didn’t deserve to be fired and now it’s up to Cena to avenge this wrongdoing Sunday night, proving once and for all that Laurinaitis is nothing more than a egomaniac with a suit and a microphone.
