GSP Shows BJ Penn That Penn is Not God! (Not Even Close)

Well at least BJ Penn was not shot down as was John Lennon after mocking God; but he was certainly punished for his arrogance, and unlike Jon Fitch, could not make it to the fifth round during his much longed for rematch with Georges St. Pierre!

Such is my joy at witnessing the tremendous and I believe well deserved beat down that BJ received from Rush, I can hardly speak.

It is hard to believe that I was once a pacifist who hated to see another human being so degraded as was the boastful Penn tonight.

Keeping my pledge to Georges (not to speak harshly when writing about BJ), has been very difficult for me because of BJ Penn's disgraceful trash talk and behavior.

Telling Georges' best friend and trainer to "go F himself" did not endear him to me.

His braggadocio and use of the "F word" may have been thrilling to his enabler Dana White, but it won no favor at Grandma's house.

We are celebrating tonight due to the emergence of a true champion who lets his fighting prowess do the talking for him.

As the only son of hard working Canadians (who may not even be aware of the enormity of his fame and popularity in the world of sports), Georges won this success with all of his hard work and dedication to MMA.

How wonderful for Georges, his family and his manager Shari Spencer for him to persevere and once again become the undisputed Welterweight Champion of the world.

Penn was not quicker, did not show superior boxing or ground skills as Georges repeatedly took him to the mat and had his way with the still Pillsbury Dough-boy appearing Hawaiian.

For BJ Penn it had all flown out the window at the end of the fourth round.

As he leaned against the side of the cage listening to his brother pleading, "Do you want this BJ?" 

His cut man mopped at the blood coming from his nose and put ice to the back of his neck.

The doctor was at BJ's side to assess his condition and ability to continue to fight.

No, BJ did not want more, was gassed and unable to go into the fifth round.

"Long live the champion Georges St. Pierre!"

And my rhetorical question for BJ Penn is, "Did you feel anything this time BJ?"
