SEC Football Tweets of the Week: Robert Nkemdiche Considering Mississippi State

Every Friday on the SEC Blog, we will feature the tweets of the week from SEC players, coaches and media personalities.

Twitter has allowed everyone to be their own public relations representative. From actors to athletes to politicians, celebrities use Twitter to control the message.

Defensive end Robert Nkemdiche, the nation's consensus No. 1 recruit, decided to use Twitter to announce that a new team has entered the race to land his services.

That would be a huge win for Dan Mullen's Bulldogs. Nkemdiche had previously narrowed down his choices to Georgia, Alabama, Clemson, Ole Miss and LSU. 

Meanwhile, Aaron Murray announced that Georgia will be sporting pink helmets in 2012.

Don't worry, Georgia fans. He wasn't serious.

In South Carolina, Connor Shaw is fighting back against his critics.

I'm not sure who's been criticizing Shaw. He's one of the SEC's top quarterbacks, despite being overlooked towards the end of last season.

Auburn head coach Gene Chizik was in attendance for the Atlanta Braves' dramatic 15-13 extra-inning win over the Philadelphia Phillies on Wednesday night. David O'Brien of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution snapped a pic of Chizik and his awesome shirt.
