HTBP Podcast: Manchester Derby, Hodgson, Guardiola & Who Cares About the FA Cup?
Neil Sherwin, Ger McCarthy and Willie Gannon are back for another week to discuss a busy few days in the Premier League, the FA Cup Final and some big managerial changes in England and Spain.
The Manchester Derby (1:00) is the obvious place to start, with Neil very happy with the outcome. Ger and Willie offer their analysis of how and why Ferguson chose one of the strangest teams of his career and how City overcame their biggest rivals at the Etihad Stadium.
The trio then offer their views about Manchester City's progress under Roberto Mancini (7:20) with hugely different opinions on show.

With Mancini’s side set to face (16:00) Newcastle United on Sunday, Spurs fans Ger and Willie are hopeful of a win for the Blues. This would aid their side’s (19:00) push for fourth spot and possibly even third, but even they think that would be asking for too much.
(23:00) The guns are then trained upon the sorry state that is Aston Villa and the relegation battle. Ger continues his hate tirade against Wigan and Roberto Martinez and almost has an embolism when he is told that the good Roberto is next in line to replace Harry Redknapp at Spurs!
The FA Cup Final (28:00) is this Saturday, with Neil hoping that both teams could lose! The lads discuss the current status of the competition relative to English football as a whole and wonder why the kick-off time (31:00) has been moved to 17:15 from the traditional 15:00 time.
In part two, the focus turns to the appointment of Roy Hodgson as England manager (33:00) at the (38:00) expense of Harry Redknapp, while (46:00) Pep Guardiola’s decision to step aside at Barcelona brings up a number of points regarding the future of the club as Real Madrid claim the La Liga title.
