WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar Must Know His Role and Shut His Mouth

Brian MaziqueJun 2, 2018

Brock Lesnar is delusional if he believes he should call the shots in the WWE as a part-time talent.

Word is Lesnar threw a fit backstage after Extreme Rules on Sunday in Chicago. The reason for his meltdown was an alleged discrepancy in the way his match with John Cena was scripted to end.

Per Wrestling Inc, Lesnar was under the impression that Cena was going to leave the match on a stretcher.

If you saw the event, you know that didn't happen. Lesnar was reportedly angered further by Cena's post-match promo.

Call me old-school, but top billing and title consideration should be reserved for talent that works the rigorous WWE schedule; not for a guy who works 30 dates in a year and gets paid $5 million.

I'm not hating on Lesnar. If the WWE offered me $5 million, I'd take 300 Stink Faces from Rikishi. But with that dough should come a certain understanding and acceptance of your role.

Lesnar is being paid top dollar because he is a huge name. But he isn't giving the company a huge commitment. Cena has been all WWE, all the time for the past 11 years. In my opinion, that deserves respect and freedom.

He has earned the right to wing it, especially in the interest of further entertaining the crowd.

Lesnar has no beef, unless he is accusing someone of changing things that result in an injury. As a part-time performer, Lesnar's primary role will be to put over full-time superstars.

If the WWE is going to continue to sign guys to these types of contracts, this is the way it should be.

Brock is an amazing talent, and he once had the most impressive presence I've ever seen in the WWE. But as a part-timer, he doesn't deserve full benefits.
