WWE News: Update on Triple H's Injury After the Attack by Brock Lesnar on Raw

After coming out on the losing end of his Extreme Rules match with John Cena Sunday night, Brock Lesnar continued his path of destruction Monday night on Raw SuperShow as he set his sights on the former champion and current COO, Triple H.

With the COO’s attention directed toward the intrusive John Laurinaitis, Lesnar would attack Triple H and lock in the dangerous Kimura submission move, effectively breaking the left arm of The Game.

Here’s the update straight from the WWE on the storyline injury that Triple H suffered Monday night.

According to WWE doctor Dr. Chris Amann, Triple H's arm was placed in a hold that created a tremendous amount of torque on his upper arm and elbow.

"He has a non-displaced fracture of distal humorous," said Amann. "Fortunately, this is not something that needs surgery with pins and screws. We'll be treating him with a sling for comfort and following with him in the next few days."

As we move away from the feud between John Cena and Brock Lesnar after Extreme Rules, it seems as though the WWE is setting up their next big feud for Lesnar following the attack

With rumors pointing to Lesnar taking on Randy Orton at this year’s SummerSlam in Los Angeles, the WWE should scratch that idea to have Lesnar-Triple H headline the “Big Four” pay-per-view after WrestleMania.

The WWE could play up this potential feud between Lesnar and Triple H in a much better way than with Cena, as The Game will go straight at the former UFC and WWE Champion unlike the CeNation leader.
