- Adam McCalvy reports that the Brewers might be done dealing until Spring Training. Again, (and I know I say this every week) WHY when there is cheap starting pitching out there? One of the starters is going to get hurt for at least a little while because it’s baseball. There’s nobody trustworthy of picking it up in the minors right now, so let’s get some insurance. Geez. The Brewers and Ben Sheets should both swallow their pride and get a deal done.

- Doug Melvin is absolutely not interested at Oliver Perez for the price he’s asking. Good, the kid’s a headcase. You never know if he’s going to be lights out or blow the whole game in 1.3 innings.

- The Brewers losing Jim Powell was a shocker. CC we were ready for. Similar to Benny. But not Jim…This one was tough to take. Jim, being the absolute professional he is, writes the fans a letter.

- According to The Bucky Channel, the Brewers have at least five nationally televised games this year including two on Sunday Night Baseball.

- Brew Crew Ball shares some projections. I think a mid .290 average for Braun is likely.

- Marcus Hanel is number 17 on the advent-ish calendar.

- Brett Lawrie and Jonathan Lucroy are the No. 7 prospects according to Between the Green Pillars and Bernie’s Crew, respectively.

- Pirates might be targeting the Eric Hinske. In related news, Tyler is seen urinating on pictures of Mike Lamb.
