Extreme Rules Results: Update on John Cena Injury During Match with Brock Lesnar
Since his debut in the company back in 2002, there has never been an opponent of John Cena like Brock Lesnar that completely dominated the former champion in the Extreme Rules match last night in Chicago.
After cracking Lesnar in the face with his trademark chain to set up an AA on the steel steps, Cena got the pin after arguably the most brutal match of his career and in the recent memory of the WWE.
Even though winning the battle in defeating Brock Lesnar, Cena did not win the war as it was visible noticeable that he had suffered a possible injury to his left arm during the match Sunday night.

Here’s a quote from the article posted on WWE.com:
""The most obvious injury was the laceration to his head, which caused a substantial amount of bleeding," said WWE locker room physician Dr. Chris Amann. "He also has suffered a shoulder injury. Initial testing in the training room leads me to believe there may be torn muscles, possibly a torn rotator cuff or a biceps muscle."
"
As for the injuries suffered in the Extreme Rules match, it was a normal sight to see Cena busted open from ear to ear in the earlier stages of his career in the WWE so the laceration is nothing, but it might need a few stitches in his head.
With the possible torn muscle in his left arm, I truly believe that during the middle of the match as Lesnar locked Cena in a Kimura, a submission that usually is saved for MMA, that all but curtained did the damage to the arm of Cena.
No matter what injuries were suffered with Lesnar, I have a newfound respect for Cena as he pretty much got beaten from pillar to post through the match and still found a way to get the job done at Extreme Rules.
Following the brutal contest with Lesnar at Extreme Rules on Sunday night, do you think Cena will take some time off to heal his injuries and recharge after being on the road for so long recently?
