NFL Power Rankings: Teams That Made a Huge Jump After 2012 NFL Draft
With the 2012 NFL draft out of the way, the wait for the beginning of the regular season begins with the first post-draft NFL power rankings.
Like opening a present on Christmas, NFL fans can’t wait to see where their team’s selections in the draft got them ranked. With no further ado, here they are!
No. 4 Philadelphia Eagles (Pre-Draft: No. 12)
While adding run-stopping defensive tackle Fletcher Cox was enough of a great move to help the Eagles move up, the team made several great moves over the course of the weekend.
Add in LB Mychal Kendricks, DE Vinny Curry and QB Nick Foles, and the Eagles addressed their areas of need. Best draft of the year.
No. 11 Buffalo Bills (Pre-Draft: No. 23)
The only team that truly gave Philadelphia a run for best ultimate winner was the Buffalo Bills. After selecting Stephon Gilmore to address their woeful secondary, the Bills fell into star guard Cordy Glenn in the second round.
With that much talented being added to a team in areas of need, credit must be given to the Bills.
No. 22 St. Louis Rams (Pre-Draft: No. 29)
After wheeling and dealing their way back in the first round, all the while collecting latter-round picks, the Rams walked away with a plethora of talented stars like Michael Brockers, Brian Quick, Janoris Jenkins, Isaiah Pead and Trumaine Johnson.
All of this added talent has the Rams’ tenure under Jeff Fisher off on the right foot.
