Chris Polk and Other Biggest Surprises of NFL Draft
The biggest surprises of the entire 2012 NFL draft came by way of three undrafted players: quarterback Kellen Moore, running back Chris Polk and linebacker Vontaze Burfict.
All three had different reasons for not being selected: Moore coming under criticism for his arm strength, Burfict for his mercurial temperament and Polk because of injury concerns.
Washington made a splash, in a strange manner, by selecting Kirk Cousins in the fourth round after already taking Robert Griffin III with the No. 2 overall pick. Quite surprising, considering there were several other needs the Redskins need to fill.
