WWE Extreme Rules 2012 Predictions: 27 Things to Expect...or Imagine

Out of the non-"Big Four" pay-per-views throughout the past few years, Extreme Rules has surprisingly been one of the most exciting. From CM Punk cashing in the Money in the Bank, to Chris Jericho becoming a record nine-time IC Champion, and Tommy Dreamer achieving his goal in becoming ECW Champion, the event has delivered an exciting product every year.

With this year's incarnation just about underway, the WWE Universe should plan on expecting 27 things from the pay-per-view.

Well...a few of them may just be a figment of my imagination, so have fun sifting out the fact from the fiction.

1. Chicago won't be behind CM Punk as much as they were at last year's Money in the Bank vs. John Cena.
2. The Kane/Orton feud will end.
3. AJ will be involved in the Sheamus/Bryan match.
4. Big Show will win.
5. Santino will retain U.S. Title.
6. Kharma will return.
7. Brodus Clay will have a squash match.
8. Brock Lesnar will win, but not clean.
9. CM Punk/Chris Jericho will have a better match than WrestleMania 28.
10. Lord Tensai will have an appearance.
11. Kane will win.
12. The overall show will not be better than Extreme Rules 2009.
13. John Cena will snap, but he won't turn heel.
14. Paul Heyman will return.
15. Sheamus will win.
16. Brock Lesnar won't look as good in the ring as people expect.
17. Tazz will return during Brock Lesnar's match to say, "Well, here comes the pain!"
18. "Cowboy" Bob Orton will appear, no cast.
19. Chris Jericho will win.
20. No match for Primo/Epico...again.
21. Justin Credible will return as Aldo Montoya.
22. Mordecai will return.
23. AW still won't find anyone (or team) to manage.
24. The Rock will not appear.
25. A Brock Lesnar video package will be shown.
26. Ryback will not wrestle.
27. Daniel Bryan will receive one of the biggest pops of the night.
