NFL Draft Order 2012: Revised Picks Following Day 1 Trades

The first round of the 2012 NFL draft is in the books, and man oh man was it a wild one.

Teams were moving all over the place in the first round of the draft. There were trades happening left and right, with teams moving up and teams moving down. Honestly, all of the madness was a little hard to keep track of.

The trades that were made on Day 1 of the draft didn't just affect the first round. Picks in the other six rounds were moving around, too.

Day 1 Trades (via ESPN.com)

Trade 1: Cleveland Browns acquire No. 3 pick from Minnesota Vikings for No. 4 pick, No. 139 pick and No. 211 pick.

The Browns used this trade to draft Trent Richardson at No. 3, with the Vikings taking Matt Kalil at No. 4.

Trade 2: Jacksonville Jaguars acquire No. 5 pick from Tampa Bay Buccaneers for No. 7 pick and No. 101 pick.

The Jaguars used this trade to draft Justin Blackmon at No. 5, with the Vikings taking Mark Barron at No. 7.

Trade 3: Dallas Cowboys acquire No. 6 pick from St. Louis Rams for No. 14 pick and No. 45 pick.

The Cowboys used this trade to draft Morris Claiborne at No. 6, with the Rams taking Michael Brockers at No. 14.

Trade 4: Philadelphia Eagles acquire No. 12 pick from Seattle Seahawks for No. 15 pick, No. 114 pick and No. 172 pick.

The Eagles used this trade to draft Fletcher Cox at No. 12, with the Seahawks taking Bruce Irvin at No. 15.

Trade 5: New England Patriots acquire No. 21 pick from Cincinnati Bengals for No. 27 pick and No. 93 pick.

The Patriots used this trade to draft Chandler Jones at No. 21, with the Bengals taking Kevin Zeitler at No. 27.

Trade 6: New England Patriots acquire No. 25 pick from Denver Broncos for No. 31 pick and No. 126 pick.

The Patriots used this trade to draft Dont'a Hightower at No. 25. The Broncos ended up trading the No. 31 pick.

Trade 7: Minnesota Vikings acquire No. 29 pick from Baltimore Ravens for No. 35 pick and No. 98 pick.

The Vikings used this trade to draft Harrison Smith at No. 29.

Trade 8: Tampa Bay Buccaneers acquire No. 31 pick and No. 126 pick from Denver Broncos for No. 36 pick and No. 101 pick.

The Buccaneers used this trade to draft Doug Martin at No. 31.
