Top Storylines

What will the Vikings do at No. 3?

The Minnesota Vikings were long thought to be locked in to taking USC offensive tackle Matt Kalil with the third overall pick in this year's draft. Now it appears they are considering all possible options with that selection, including a trade down if a suitable offer comes along.

Many believe Kalil will still be the pick as he is by far the best offensive lineman in this draft. If he somehow drops, there could be a swarm of teams attempting to move up for the right to select him.

Which direction with the Browns go in?

The Cleveland Browns should have their choice of three elite talents and a quarterback when they are on the clock at No. 4.

LSU cornerback Morris Claiborne, Alabama running back Trent Richardson and Oklahoma State wide receiver Justin Blackmon are all likely to be available. Texas A&M quarterback Ryan Tannehill will almost certainly be on the board as well.

The consensus seems to lean toward the Browns selecting Richardson to fill a desperate need at running back, but nothing would surprise me at this point. Whichever direction Cleveland chooses to go will almost certainly have a serious impact on the franchise's future.

Where will Ryan Tannehill land?

Tannehill has established himself as this draft's third-best quarterback behind Stanford's Andrew Luck and Baylor's Robert Griffin III. Throughout the draft evaluation process the Texas A&M signal-caller has been outstanding, solidifying himself as a top-10 pick.

That said, his lack of experience—he made just 19 collegiate starts at quarterback—makes him a serious risk. While Tannehill makes the most sense for Miami at No. 8, there is a chance someone trades up ahead of the Dolphins to grab him. It will be fascinating to see how this plays out.
