Premier League Transfer Rumours: 10 Overseas Stars Who Would Soar in England

We have seen many great foreign players in the Premier League. So it seems a logical to think about some other foreign players that could make it in the English top-flight.

The 10 players in this list will be made up of players that are rumored to be playing Premier League football next season and could perform well in the Premier League if they were to move.

Mesut Ozil

German international midfielder Mesut Ozil has been linked with a summer move to Manchester United. However, they will face a challenge to prize him away from Real Madrid.

Nevertheless, he has been identified as a major transfer target, and a possible replacement for Paul Scholes.

Wesley Sneijder

Dutch midfielder Wesley Sneijder has been repeatedly been linked with a move to the Premier League. However, up to now it hasn't actually happened. It remains to be seen if the switch will finally happen in the summer.

However, he is the sort of player that would excel in England. And if one of the big clubs were to take a chance on him, then it would prove to be a shrewd piece of business.  

Lukas Podolski

The German striker is all set to join Arsenal in the summer for a £10.9million fee. This is a very good move by Arsene Wenger and will add to the Gunners attacking options,

It will be interesting to see if Robin Van Persie decides to stay with the North London club, if he does Wenger's team will have one of the most feared strike duos in the division. 

Iker Muniain

The 19-year-old Spanish striker could be on Manchester United's summer shopping list. However, Sir Alex Ferguson has been warned that there are other clubs interested in the player.

It sounds like the player is a star in the making and has already made his full Spanish debut. But he could cost as much as £29.5million.

Adem Ljajic

Wenger looks like he may make a move to bring the talented Serbian midfielder/winger into his Arsenal ranks. This is a player that can be developed into an Arsenal star. He certainly looks to fit the formula for a typical Wenger signing. However, we will have to wait and see if this deal goes through in the summer. 

Jordi Alba

Sir Alex Ferguson is believed to be tracking the talented 23-year-old Spanish left back as a possible long-term replacement for Patrice Evra. Evra has played regularly for Manchester United this season, and Ferguson needs to think about who will replace him.

Competition for places between the two next season would not be a bad thing. Alba is likely to cost £15million. 

Hugo Lloris

Spurs have identified Hugo Lloris as a goalkeeper that they would like to sign. The France international would be seen as replacement for Brad Friedel, as he is approaching the end of his career.

It is likely that the North London club would have to make a sizeable offer in the the region of £10million to secure Lloris.

Eden Hazard

Belgium attacker Eden Hazard has been linked with a move to the Premier League in the past, and it will be interesting to see if he finally arrives this summer. Hazard has had a very good season in France, scoring 15 goals and providing 13 assists. The Spurs is a possible destination for the winger.

Marko Marin

Could this latest German talent be on his way to the Premier League. Spurs were believed to have been interested in January 2012. Marin looks set to leave Germany and may fancy testing out his skills in the Premier League.

His versatility in midfield is another reason the player as an attractive option. 

Javi Martinez

The tough tackling Spanish midfielder is another player that could be set for a move to the Premier League. Tottenham, Liverpool and Manchester United have all been keeping a close eye on him. However, if he is to move to the Premier League in the summer, then the fee is likely to be £25-30million.
