TNA: Will James Storm Ever Gain the TNA World Title Again?
He has to.
I am not sure what happened between last Sunday and Thursday night, but TNA changed the rules again and this time, it makes no sense.
Sorry about your damn luck, James Storm.
For some reason, after a Lockdown contest that saw Bobby Roode retain his title after being super kicked through the cage door, Storm seems to be the man at the crossroads while other wrestlers are picking up steam (RVD) after returning to the company two weeks ago.
Funny how that happens.
And while it looks like the remorseful James Storm may have to build himself back up in the eyes of the creative team and Hulk Hogan, did the wind just die down in the sails of what could have been and should still be the feud of the year in wrestling.
Does anyone know how to tease and please wrestling fans anymore?
If this was the end of the Storm/Roode feud, then shame on TNA for building this, letting it sit for so long (yes, there were injuries) and not having a better plan to bridge the arc between rivalries. Jeff Hardy, RVD, Mr. Anderson and Bully Ray are all great wrestlers and in my opinion, better right now than the top four guys on Raw not named Jericho, Punk, Cena and Lesnar. Throw in Austin Aries and AJ Styles and the list gets better (that is for another article).
Hopefully this is still an angle where Storm comes back badder and stronger than before and challenges everyone in his sights so he can prove he is the best there is at challenging his old friend and teammate.
With the changes Hogan and creative are making and the way the title picture looks, this is a very good thing right now. There are five or six real contenders for the TNA World Title, which is great since they are all battling it out, not like WWE that focuses on two competitors and lets the other wrestlers toil.
Yes, that means you, Cody Rhodes.
But seriously, give the fans more of the match they have been craving. Give them anger and pain. Give them Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard (as foes).
Just give them something that makes them understand the creative masses are not eliminating the feud. Let them know it will only get better.
