WWE News: Edge's Contract Set to Expire with WWE Very Soon
Two weeks ago, Edge was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. In two more weeks, he may no longer even be with the company.
According to PWInsider.com, his contract is set to expire on May 1st. He has been under contract with WWE since 1997, and many other retired legends remain under contract well after retiring from wrestling.

Well, that is very interesting.
First, let me just say that he is not wrestling for any other company. Anybody ready to rev up the "fantasy booking" engine should stop right now.
Like Shawn Michaels, I am going to assume he stays with the company in some roles. Speaking to the media or being a figurehead in Canada would be ideal.
Of course, Edge also has some work to do in his acting career. That may be fun to keep an eye out for in the next few years.
The man has won countless titles throughout his career in WWE. He was a well-deserved Hall of Fame inductee, and his place in wrestling history is set.
For him to try a few other activities is a welcome surprise. With a new haircut, it seems like he has a new life ready to go.
Edge will always be a part of the WWE family. Same with many others who left WWE for a while.
From Mick Foley to The Rock to other legends, WWE is their home.
Whether he signs on new contract with Vince McMahon or not next month, Edge is a smart man. He knows what he is doing, and I wish him nothing but the best going forward.
