What We Learned from This Week in AFC North Media Coverage
Clearly, most of the major news around the AFC North this week revolves around the draft, but there were also other storylines of note.
Most of those came via the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Steelers, quiet in free agency up to now, added tight end Leonard Pope on Tuesday and followed that up on Wednesday by giving unrestricted free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery a two-year deal.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The moves likely signal that the team feels they are in no danger of losing restricted free agent receiver Mike Wallace to another team. But their troubles with Wallace aren't over—he's reportedly not going to sign his first-round RFA tender and will hold out at least through OTAs.
When it comes to the draft, the Baltimore Ravens should come out with a good haul, thanks to the smarts of player personnel director Eric DeCosta. At least, so says Bleacher Report's Barry Barnes. One player they may walk away with is linebacker Mychal Kendricks, whose stock is rapidly rising. The Ravens will meet with him, according to Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times.
If they do draft Kendricks, we may be seeing a lot more of him if the Ravens agree to do another season of "Hard Knocks" on HBO. But HBO reportedly has yet to get in touch with the team and it doeesn't seem likely they'd do it if asked.
The biggest draft controversy in the division is who the Cleveland Browns will take with their fourth-overall pick. Ryan Phillips of Bleacher Report believes that player must be running back Trent Richardson, who the Canton Repository's Steve Doerschuk thinks could be to the team what Ray Rice is to the Ravens.
Though Richardson seems like the no-brainer choice, the Browns do have myriad options at No. 4; Dennis Manoloff of the Cleveland Plain Dealer made cases for and against each of them.
It was a quiet week for the Cincinnati Bengals. The biggest story for the team is their trade of linebacker Keith Rivers for the New York Giants' fifth-round draft pick.
Two Bleacher Report writers broke down this move—Gary Davenport believes the Bengals will regret the trade while Sigmund Bloom examines its draft impact.
