Bear Grylls Dodgers Video: Watch Star Bring the Heat with Flaming First Pitch

If you want to beat Bear Grylls and the first pitch he threw out at Dodger Stadium on Thursday, you will need to get your hands on a much bigger ball of fire. 

Many of you will recognize the name Bear Grylls, the famous TV adventurer that gets himself in sticky situations for the benefit of our entertainment and knowledge. 

You just knew that he wouldn't merely toss out a ball for his first pitch on Thursday night. He just had to put his own spin on things, and that involved getting on the mound, lighting the ball on fire and letting loose. 

First, Grylls hardly needs the fireball when he is coming with a near perfect delivery for a southpaw. Being a Dodgers fan, you will forgive that opinion as I was used to seeing Hong-Chih Kuo on the bump. 

Second, can they begin busing in Dodgers fans into these games? Maybe they could go out and get some seat fillers, because whatever is taking place in the stands at the beautiful Dodgers stadium is pretty grim.

This is an epic first pitch and you the Internet viewer and the 17 people in attendance saw it. Grylls should have taken one look at the stands and thought, "I am not wasting a burnt hand on this crowd."

You know what I really love? This man lights a freaking ball on fire and throws it 60-feet without screaming in agony. 

That's when about a dozen fans clap like they just saw a clown make a balloon animal. I have seen more people loose their minds with Blake Griffin dunking a basketball, something he does roughly 50 times a night. 

Stop being so jaded, Los Angeles. It's okay to giggle with glee when something awesome happens, and this qualifies.
