Ferris State vs. Boston College: Eagles Will Dominate for 5th NCAA Championship

The Boston College Eagles will destroy underdog Ferris State in the final of the Frozen Four to capture the school's fifth national championship in hockey.

The Eagles defeated a very talented Minnesota squad in the semifinal 6-1, and they now have just one more hurdle to climb in what has been a fantastic season for the Eagles. After winning the Beanpot and the Hockey East Tournament, the only thing left to accomplish for the Eagles is the national title.

The Eagles will dominate Ferris State with another strong performance from senior goaltender Parker Milner, who has been outstanding in the NCAA tournament:

"He's improved an awful lot," BC coach Jerry York said via ESPN. "And I don't think you can be a top-end team unless you've got a remarkable goaltender. I think that's so essential to being the type of club we'd like to be.

"And Parker, he's become [Cory] Schneider, [John] Muse, [Scott] Clemmensen. His March and April have just been outstanding."

Milner is 28-5-0 on the season and has five shutouts during the Eagles' current 18-game winning streak. His consistency between the pipes is a major advantage for the Eagles in this matchup, and his play also gives the team a ton of confidence heading into every game.

Ferris State will also face the challenge of stopping junior Eagles forward Chris Kreider, which will be an incredibly difficult task.

Kreider leads the Eagles with 45 points and is a physical power forward who has NHL-caliber skills. He is expected to join the New York Rangers at the conclusion of the weekend and feature on their Stanley Cup playoffs roster.

With too much offensive firepower and an elite goaltender, the Eagles will not have any trouble defeating Ferris State for their fifth national title.
