Ryan Vs. Joe: Who in the Devlopmentals Will Have the Best WWE Future?

Joe Burgett Jan 20, 2009

I recently talked to B/R writer Ryan. He had been gone from B/R for a little while, and I thought we should see him back. But down to business, I challenged him to a writer vs writer.

I figured we should predict the future. That we should predict who in the WWE developmental league will have the best WWE future. Ryan picked Harry Smith. D.H Smith in the WWE.

I like his pick, after all, he is rumored to be joining Randy Orton's Legacy, and that could be big for him. But I feel that Joe Hennig will have the best WWE career. If you are not familiar with him, you should be.

He is the son of the great Mr. Perfect Curt Hennig. He is doing well in FCW to me. I have seen him wrestle a few times and he reminds me so much of his father. He even pays tribute to him by using his dad's finisher, the Perfect Plex.

He is about as good as his father in the ring, too. He rarely makes mistakes, and he is pretty technical in the ring. He also goes to the top a little bit to, something that could help him out.

Unlike some wrestlers in FCW, he has had memorable matches. Namely with the current FCW Heavyweight Champion. He won a battle royal a little while back and got a FCW Championship title shot.

He was on the verge of winning but lost in the end due to outside interference. He did well in the match and showed he was main-event material. Which helps you in the WWE.

I kind of wonder why he has not been called up yet though. He has done so well, as is considered one of the top talents in FCW right now. Why would they not bring him up.

I do know his mic skills are not that great, but he can improve on that. Hennig can just wrestle and get by because he is so good. But in the WWE mic skills are key I guess.

If you haven't yet, check out Ryan's return article.
