Liverpool's Dirk Kuyt Is Looking for a Way out of Kenny Dalglish's Side

Christopher HallJun 7, 2018

Liverpool forward Dirk Kuyt is open to a move away from the Premier League club in the summer.

British media reported this week that Liverpool were interested in selling the player. AS Roma, Fiorentina and Kuyt's former employers at Feyenoord were cited as possible destinations.

Kuyt has been frustrated with a lack of playing time this season under Kenny Dalglish. After scoring 13 goals in 33 appearances (32 starts, one sub) last term, the Dutchman has only managed two goals after being included in the starting XI just 19 times this season.

The player's agent told Italian media in Rome that Kuyt's frustration has him thinking about his future and that one of their local teams could play a role in his decision.

"

Kuyt is considering his future. He still has a contract with Liverpool which expires in 2014.

AS Roma could be an option for Dirk. They are a prestigious club that is fighting for important objectives. With [Roma sporting director Walter] Sabatini, there is an excellent relationship.

I can say that Roma is part of the list of clubs that Kuyt would take seriously into account.

"

Kuyt has scored 51 times during 202 appearances for Liverpool since joining the club in August 2006.
