World Football: Bosnian Fans Pelt Linesman with Stones
It's all blood and guts today on your friendly B/R world football blog.
First, we had macho men pulling out their own teeth. Now, we have a linesman being pelted with stones from the stands in the Bosnian league.
Some background info: Back in September, a Bosnian league match between FK Borac Banja Luka and FK Zeljeznicar Sarajevo had to be abandoned after Borac fans stormed the pitch and threw rocks and lit flares in the direction of Zeljeznicar supporters.

But wait, there's more:
"This all came after the Borac fans had unfurled a banner stating their support for Bosnian Serb militant leader Ratko Mladic—who had previously been arrested and put on trial in The Hague on suspicion of war crimes and genocide.
"
Now that's just lovely, and it brings us to Wednesday's Bosnian cup semifinal between the same two teams.
As the video above shows, Zeljeznicar took the lead with a nifty free kick before chaos broke out. Suddenly, the camera pans to a linesman, who is nursing a gaping head wound as he leaves the pitch.
The head wound came as a result of Borac fans' favorite weapon—stones from the stands. Not surprisingly, referee Midhat Arnatuvic then called off the match.
In case you were wondering, FK Borac Banja Luka won the Premier League of Bosnia and Herzegovina last season. Zeljeznicar won it the year before.
So besides being political rivals, these two are apparently bitter on-field foes as well.
But come on, guys. Can't we all just get along?
