New York Jets Preseason Schedule: Subway Showdown Highlights Week 2
The Jets home opener comes against their cross-conference rivals, the Super Bowl champion New York Giants, at MetLife Stadium. Not much of a home opener, as the fans will likely be split between the two clubs.
What's more, the final game of the preseason is sure to conjure up some bad memories for the Jets—their three-game tailspin to close out the 2011 season began in Philadelphia.
Of course, that's only the most noteworthy of the Jets preseason games. Here is the entire schedule, as released by NFL.com on Wednesday.

What To Watch For
Tim Tebow gets his first action as a Jet on the road against the Bengals. Tebowmania didn't have a chance to run wild on the Bengals when they faced the Broncos in 2011, as that was a full three weeks before he threw his first pass of the 2011 season.
As pointed out by Rich Cimini of ESPN New York, Tebow will handle a majority of the snaps at quarterback in the first two games. Rex Ryan typically waits until the third preseason game to give Mark Sanchez a heavy dose of snaps.
The Jets pass defense will have its hands full in the preseason. They get to face off against the two best rookie quarterbacks of yesteryear. Cam Newton set the rookie record for passing yards and Andy Dalton helped raise the Bengals from the ashes with his solid quarterback play.
With the Bengals, Giants and Eagles all featuring talented squads of defensive linemen, it will give the Jets some opportunities to find out what they have in terms of depth on the offensive line, which should be a point of emphasis for Gang Green, as discussed by B/R NFC North blogger Andrew Garda and myself yesterday.
