WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar, Chris Jericho, CM Punk and Thursday's Top WWE News
With the WrestleMania season firmly behind us now, you can see where WWE could start to enter panic mode. Even with the addition of Brock Lesnar, this year is going to be all about climbing out of the rut the creative team has put the roster in.
Lesnar can mask a lot of problems that WWE has, but he can't be the only thing the company tries to sell people on. Use him to create more buzz and interest, while at the same time doing all that can be done to get new stars over.
Nothing that WWE does this year will be as important as what happens with the roster of stars and building them up.

While we wait to see how all that plays out, here is the latest and greatest news from behind the scenes in WWE.
BROCK LESNAR GETTING TREATED LIKE THE ROCK
You knew it was just a matter of time before the speculation about Lesnar's popularity backstage started, right? And, for those of you familiar with what The Rock was hearing, this news won't be a shock to you. It turns out that the stars in the back don't like having another new star back.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is this just petty jealousy?
Our Take: In thinking about it, it is clear there is a lot of that going on. You can't really blame these other wrestlers, because they want their chance to prove what they can do. It won't happen if Lesnar is showing up to work angles with John Cena.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Crybabies
Wrestling, particularly WWE, is all about who can draw the most money in the shortest amount of time. Lesnar will do business for the company, at least right now, so he is going to get the big push that others might be looking for.

CHRIS JERICHO'S SUMMER SCHEDULE LOOKING LIGHTER
While Jericho figures to be in WWE for the foreseeable future, it does appear that once summer hits that will change. His band Fozzy is booked on a tour of the U.K. in early-June and that would conflict with RAW and the No Way Out show on June 17.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Jericho going away again?
Our Take: At this point, it seems doubtful. Sure, he may take a week off here and there, but his contract would seem to give him the freedom to do a lot of outside ventures if he wanted to. Remember, he was only on RAW the three weeks before WrestleMania via Jumbotron.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Untimely Exits
Jericho is still one of the best parts of RAW. His presence has ignited a spark in CM Punk and they should have a great feud that lasts at least through Extreme Rules, if not longer.

CM PUNK TEASES SOMETHING WITH BROCK LESNAR
Since Brock Lesnar is the talk of WWE right now, it would make sense that the WWE champion would talk about the possibility of an angle with him at some point. In an interview on Wednesday, Punk said that Lesnar could come after him at some point.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Lesnar going after the WWE title?
Our Take: We know that Lesnar's contract is for one year and 30-35 total dates, so he is going to need more to do than just feud with Cena. It would make for an interesting dynamic, though you have to wonder if WWE would feel the need to turn Lesnar or Punk heel before doing it.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Go-to-Sleeps
Imagine how good this would be for Punk's marketability. If he were to go from a successful feud with Jericho to possibly working a program with Lesnar, he could get close to that Cena level in popularity.

CM PUNK AND THE ROCK MAKE NICE
Speaking of CM Punk, he was always outspoken in his feelings about The Rock. He never completely dismissed him, but never did sound particularly high on him. That makes it unusual to see this picture taken backstage at WrestleMania.
Question on Everybody's Mind: Is Punk going soft?
Our Take: Never. If anything, he is starting to open his mind. If Punk can welcome Rock back, it could be enough to convince WWE to do that as a potential feud somewhere down the line. That may not be in the cards, but it would be great to see both men working together.
Hype Meter: 5 out of 5 Dream Matches
It is not often we get so many 5-for-5 days, but this is a big news day for WWE. Punk and Rock could have an outstanding feud, one that rivals anything Cena and Rock did. It may not draw as well, but that is for WWE to worry about.
