Seahawks Uniforms 2012: Flashy New Jerseys Energize Otherwise Dull Franchise
Face it, Seattle Seahawks fans. Your team is not what it once was. You haven't had a winning season since 2007, and you are in a division that sports a Super Bowl contender in the San Francisco 49ers. Your franchise has been dull for a long time, and Skittles give you way too much joy for normal human beings.
But wait, there is hope.
At the unveiling of Nike's new NFL jerseys on Tuesday, the Seahawks came out victorious. They sport the flashiest jerseys of them all, which they actually look pretty sharp. Traditionalists will grumble, but this isn't the 20th century, so get over it.

Rookie WRs Who Will Outplay Their Draft Value 📈
The new jerseys boast blue, neon green, white and grey. While they may remind people of the Arena League, the colors actually mesh really well together and give the Seahawks some spark. Coming off consecutive 7-9 seasons, there can never be too much spark for the Seahawks.
The Seahawks landed a promising new quarterback this offseason in Matt Flynn, and they have the No. 12 overall pick in the NFL draft this year. They still have receivers Sidney Rice and Doug Baldwin. Perhaps this is the year the Seahawks emerge into the playoff picture, even if it's for a wild-card spot.
All I know is, Marshawn Lynch will be the most colorful player in the NFL this season, as Skittles cascade down on his neon green jersey.
Most teams didn't receive an overhaul on Tuesday. The biggest changes around the league? The Denver Broncos home jersey has changed from blue to orange and the Oakland Raiders now have silver pants. How dull.
Of course, most fans care more about the product on the field than, well, the product on the field. They would gladly trade in these new flashy unis for a Super Bowl.
But for now, it's something to don proudly. Even if the Seahawks fail to make the playoffs this season, at least they will look good doing it, one way or another.
