Brock Lesnar Returns: Why WWE Must Have Lesnar vs. the Rock at WrestleMania 29

Can you see it building?

The Rock vs. Brock is coming.

I know it appears Lesnar's initial feud will be with John Cena, but the best way to maximize his return would be to match him with The Rock at WrestleMania 29.

Consider this, The Rock says he wants to become WWE champion again, and Lesnar has signed a one-year deal with the WWE.

Lesnar returns the day after WrestleMania 28, while WrestleMania 29 is in New Jersey on April 7th. That still falls within the one year that Lesnar has signed.

If this is going to be a short stay for Lesnar, you can bet the WWE will be milking the monster's presence for everything its worth.

The Rock and Brock Lesnar's paths have crossed. They battled each other at SummerSlam in 2002.

Guess where that took place?

The promos couldn't be written any more perfectly.

With both men having achieved huge popularity and notoriety in other ventures, their match could be even bigger than The Rock and John Cena.

If The Rock stays in the same ridiculous shape he's in currently, and Lesnar is up to speed, the match could be very exciting as well. 

While Lesnar is playing his part currently in what seems like the inevitable heel turn for John Cena, I'm sure the WWE' writers have big things planned for Lesnar. 

What's bigger than a title match with The Rock at WrestleMania?

Nothing.

Oh yeah...Lesnar does have to win the title doesn't he? Hopefully, this brings about a Lesnar-CM Punk feud, which I believe was a better fit for Lesnar anyway. It'll be the perfect way to rip the title from Punk, as his reign is getting a bit longish. 

This gives The Rock the motivation to return again, but this time, it would be for the gold. He'll obviously need some warm-up matches, which is very similar to what he he did this year at Survivor Series. But he proved at WrestleMania 28, he can still get it done in the ring.

Lesnar should be working a little more consistently throughout the year, though it won't be a full schedule. 

It should all culminate in an epic confrontation at WrestleMania 29.
