Barcelona vs. AC Milan: Lionel Messi Will Destroy Serie A Leaders at Nou Camp

Barcelona star Lionel Messi will dominate AC Milan at the Nou Camp on Tuesday to help carry the Catalan club into the semifinals of the Champions League for the fifth consecutive season.

Messi leads the Champions League with 12 goals thus far and will find a way to give Barca their first goal against the Serie A leaders in this fixture on Tuesday.

Barca's zero goals in the first leg was their first goalless match in Champions League play in nearly three years.

The Milan defense did a nice job on Messi in the first leg at the San Siro, but the pitch was absolutely brutal and it certainly made a difference.

One of the biggest reasons to expect Messi to perform at a high level in the second leg on Tuesday is because he's a big-match player for Barcelona in this competition.

The Argentinian star has scored in two Champions League finals and dominated rivals Real Madrid over the two legs of their semifinal fixture last season.

The return of Barca's second leading scorer and exquisite playmaker Cesc Fabregas will also have a huge impact on Messi's ability to score against Milan at the Nou Camp.

Fabregas and Messi have been in sync throughout the season and the Spanish star will give Milan another attacking threat to worry about in addition to Messi.

With the pressure high and the world watching, Messi will give Barcelona another performance for the ages and carry the club into the semifinal, where a possible matchup with Premier League side Chelsea could await.
