Post-WrestleMania WWE Raw Preview: Where Does Everyone Go from Here?

The Doctor Chris MuellerMay 31, 2018

Tonight's Raw will feature much of the fallout from last night's WrestleMania, and we are sure to get some answers to questions that were raised during the spectacular in Miami.

John Cena losing to the Rock is probably the biggest story coming out of Mania. Many people, myself included, expected WWE's golden boy to go over the man who has wrestled only two matches in seven years.

With The Rock being under no obligation to ever wrestle again, it will be interesting to see how Cena handles the loss and if Rocky will accept any rematch, if a challenge were issued by Cena.

Triple H and Undertaker gave each other enough welts and minor injuries to keep them benched for the foreseeable future, so I would expect little more than a nod to how awesome the match was.

John Laurinaitis won control over both shows, so we will see him take his spot as the supreme GM of WWE Monday night when he will no doubt gloat over how amazingly his team performed.

What I am more interested in seeing is where David Otunga goes from here. He has been getting a push as of late and with there being no more Team Johnny to captain, it will be interesting to see what WWE has planned for him.

With the US title being left off the card and the Tag titles defended pre-show, it should be expected that we will see those champions on the show at some point.

Another development was the low blowski delivered by the Hoeski to everyone's favorite Broski. Eve officially left Ryder after causing a distraction to Ryder that cost Team Teddy the match.

She left Ryder feeling how all men feel after being dumped: like they have been kicked in the little Broskis, but he was feeling the pain both physically and emotionally.

What will happen between them should be interesting, especially now that Eve is full-on heel and Ryder is free from her evil clutches.

The Momma-loving Funkasaurus had a strange segment during WrestleMania which saw him bring out a ton of dancers dressed like his Momma.

I am still speechless about this, so basically I am just going to have to wait it out with Brodus Clay and see what happens Monday night.

Finally, CM Punk will no doubt be talking about his win over Chris Jericho Sunday night in what was an outstanding match.

Both men really put on a great show, and in the end I think they were simply overshadowed by two other matches which had better buildups.

Undertaker and Triple H inside a cell and The Rock vs. John Cena stacked the deck against Jericho and Punk, who were in a standard one-on-one match.

Had WWE gone with a better storyline than Jericho simply calling out Punk's family issues, then I think it could have been a much more anticipated bout, but they still made the match awesome, and that is what counts in WWE.

Big Show's win over Cody Rhodes and Sheamus' over Daniel Bryan will most likely be brought up on SmackDown, but we could see some coverage of those on Raw as well given that it is a Super-Show.

What are you most looking forward to on Monday night's Raw?
