EPL Week 31: 3 Players Most Likely to Score for Manchester United
Manchester United travel to Blackburn to take on the Rovers in a match that will have critical ramifications for the Premier League title race.
After watching cross-town rivals squander leads and struggle for points over the past few weeks, the Red Devils know that a win here would make them nearly impossible to run down.

They will also know the seriousness of this match, having dropped all three points the last time these two sides met at Old Trafford. Blackburn are fighting for their survival in the top class, and will come out at home ready for a fight.
If Manchester United are to find the back of the net—which funnily enough they'll need to do to win—here are the three most likely players to end up the hero for the Red Devils.
And keeping in mind that Paul Robinson has only saved 55 percent of shots on target this season, three goal scorers may not be out of the question at all!
1. Wayne Rooney
Sorry for starting with the obvious one, but it is nearly impossible to ignore Wayne Rooney as of late. The striker's form has been simply incredible over the past few months as he has now taken his total up to 21 goals in the English Premier League.
When United lost to Blackburn back in December, Rooney was in the middle of a six-game slump in which he would fail to find the back of the net once.
However, the tide has well and truly turned for Wayne, whose importance to the Red Devils is growing with every week. Blackburn may try and play defense for 90 minutes, but with someone of Rooney's class threatening, the walls are bound to fall down at some point.
Likely to start off the bench for United, Berbatov was the man that almost brought Manchester back from death against Blackburn in their previous encounter, and is a great threat to find the back of the net again.
Berbatov's nine goals means he has scored more Premier League goals against Blackburn than any other side. He's also found the scorer's sheet eight times in his last five matches against Rovers.
Whilst Berbatov has only found the back of the net once away from Old Trafford this season, he certainly has a great chance to grab himself a goal off the bench. Rooney and Welbeck may pick up some extra attention from defenders, meaning that someone like Berbatov could sneak in and score a goal.
3. Antonio Valencia
Despite the fact Valencia has only notched up three goals this year, he is not to be underrated nor dismissed as a potential goal scorer.
Antonio is currently running second in Premier League assists with 11 in 19 matches, and has certainly been an offensive presence all season long.
Similar to Berbatov, Valencia could take advantage of some extra attention on Rooney and Welbeck and chalk up his name on the scorer's sheet.
Overall
There's your three potential goal scorers, though not all of them may find the back of the net. Much has been made as to how tough a match this is for United, but I can't see that phasing the Red Devils' dominance and offensive presence.
They are leading the Premier League for a reason and will extent their lead to five points with a comfortable 3-0 win over Blackburn Rovers.
And your goal scorers? Here's hoping...
