WrestleMania 28 is officially in the books. There was no shortage of compelling action, and there were some shocking results nobody saw coming.
The atmosphere was electric, and the athletes didn't disappoint.
There were three finishes in particular that stuck out to me as the most shocking of the evening.

Modern-Day Dream Matches 💭

Most Likely Backlash Heel/Face Turns 🎭
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan
The fact that Sheamus won isn't the shocker—he was favored to win the match.
The reason this match made it on this list is the way Sheamus won.
Bryan was prepping for the start of the match and went to AJ for a last-second kiss. He had just turned around and was about to get ready for the fight when Sheamus blind-sided him with a Brogue Kick right to the neck.
Sheamus immediately covered, never giving Bryan a chance to recover while the ref counted to three before he ever knew what hit him.
It was over before it ever got started, and the finishing time of 18 seconds is a new WWE record.
Randy Orton vs. Kane
Orton came into this match heavily favored to win. He came out of it with a bewildered look on his face after Kane mopped the floor with him.
The highlights of this match can be summed up in one word: chokeslam.
Kane repeatedly used that sick move to destroy Orton in an impressive display of wrestling excellence.
The last chokeslam from Kane was done off the ropes, putting a nice cap on the performance.
John Cena vs. The Rock
Vegas had Cena as the heavy favorite here. The logic was simple: they thought there was no way The Rock would stick around for the long haul, making Cena the easy choice for WWE.
Vegas was wrong.
The Rock came back from a brutal beating to win the match in thrilling fashion, using his patented Rock Bottom to finish Cena off.
The match was brutally long and scripted to perfection. It was like watching a classic Rocky movie. Back and forth they went, savagely beating one another as the crowd gasped with both pleasure and pain.
It was the perfect way to end an entertaining night.
