Wrestlemania 2012: Most Enticing Matches in Sunday's Epic Event

Austin GreenJun 7, 2018

The holiest of holy days is finally upon us, as WrestleMania 28 is just under an hour away.

Tonight's schedule is loaded with interesting matchups, from star-studded singles matches to an epic 12-man tag team showdown.

Here are the matches you should keep an eye on tonight.

WRESTLING: OCT 02 AEW Dynamite/Rampage Pittsburgh
Monday Night RAW

CM Punk vs Chris Jericho

In a battle for Punk's WWE championship belt, this will likely be the most compelling match of the night.

The two have had a rising feud the past few weeks, with tensions and animosity building since Jericho earned the right to face Punk tonight. Jericho got here by taking out Big Show to win a 10-man battle royal in February.

These are two of the most talented wrestlers in the WWE company, and I'm expecting them to put on a fast-paced, action-packed show. Jericho should be the slight favorite since he just made his comeback, but you can never count out Punk.

Triple H vs. The Undertaker

The two have already battled at Wrestlemania twice, with The Undertaker winning both times. However, The Undertaker was carted out of the arena on a stretcher in the last match after suffering numerous injuries.

This time, he'll be seeking a more satisfying victory when the two face off in a Hell in a Cell match. I'm expecting it to be close, but in the end I just can't picture Triple H winning.

He's basically retired as it is, and if anybody's going to spoil The Undertaker's perfect record at WrestleMania, it's probably going to be an up-and-coming star.

Look for The Deadman to stay undefeated at wrestling's Super Bowl.

John Cena vs The Rock

As the main event, this is obviously going to be an exciting match.

After winning a tag team match together in November, The Rock unleashed a nasty Rock Bottom on Cena to set up this epic showdown.

Cena and The Rock are two of the best to ever step in the ring, and with the potential inclusion of Brock Lesnar, this could be one of the craziest bouts in recent memory.

I'm expecting The Rock to win, adding to his already legendary resume.
