WWE Hall of Fame 2012: Celebrities Like Mike Tyson Make Hall a Complete Joke
The WWE allowing celebrities to be inducted into its Hall of Fame is a complete joke, and it ruins the credibility of the process.
Another celebrity will be introduced this year, and it's former heavyweight champion of the world Mike Tyson.
Even though Tyson's effect on the Attitude Era because of his work with Stone Cold Steve Austin and Vince McMahon should be noted, he's not a worthy inductee for the Hall of Fame.

Why? He wasn't one of the best and most famous wrestlers in WWE history. He made a number of memorable appearances in the 1990s, but that doesn't warrant a Hall of Fame induction.
There's no way that celebrities should go into any Hall of Fame, even the WWE's. It just makes no sense.
These exclusive clubs are for the athletes, or in this case, wrestlers and no one else. Sure, you can induct people who have made contributions, such as executives, but celebrities being in the Hall is a complete joke.
Doing so makes the WWE look incredibly foolish, and it won't help the sport gain any more credibility or respect in the sports world.
Why even have a "Hall of Fame" if you're going to induct celebrities who didn't make a significant impact on the success of the business?
The fact that Mike Tyson and Drew Carey will soon be in the WWE Hall of Fame together is a joke and an embarrassment to wrestling.
