WrestleMania 28: 5 Reasons We're Excited for Undertaker vs. Triple H
The Undertaker is looking to improve his WrestleMania streak to 20-0 in a rematch with Triple H tonight at WrestleMania 28. This is no typical rematch though.
Shawn Michaels will be the special guest referee, and it will be a Hell in a Cell match.
The Undertaker had to work hard to convince Triple H to accept the rematch, using tension between Triple H and long-time friend Shawn Michaels to have his way.
Triple H claims to be the only man who has what it takes to end the streak, the only man who will go as far as he has to in order to get the job done.
The odds seem stacked against Undertaker, but the streak doesn't lie. The Dead Man is 19-0, never tasting defeat at WrestleMania.
Bleacher Report has narrowed down the top five reasons we're excited to see this bout, feel free to sound off in the comment section and share your thoughts on the match as well!
We Finally Get to See The Undertaker's New Hair (or Lack Thereof)
1 of 5When The Undertaker returned to WWE to challenge Triple H, he had an atrocious wig. There had been a great stir over Undertaker cutting his hair in 2011, and the WWE Universe asked how the WWE would handle The Dead Man's hair situation.
It didn't take long for 'Taker to cut his hair in a taped promo, and start wearing a hood.
At WrestleMania 28, we'll finally get to see Undertaker's new hair on WWE television.
Don't worry, the rest of our reasons to be excited for this match are far more noteworthy.
It's The Undertaker!
2 of 5Honestly, this one could go higher on the list.
It's The Undertaker! He's like Santa Claus now, only coming around once a year.
Undertaker is a WrestleMania mainstay, and his participation alone is something that stirs up excitement among wrestling fans.
We don't know how much longer Undertaker will be around, so it's best to savor it while he's here.
Shawn Michaels as Special Guest Referee
3 of 5Having Shawn Michaels involved as the special guest referee for Undertaker vs. Triple H is a brilliant move.
Shawn has had his share of epics with Undertaker, and has a rich history with Triple H. The tension between Shawn and Hunter turns what typically would be a massive advantage for Triple H into an unsure situation where the fans are left guessing.
Will Shawn call it down the middle, favor Triple H or betray his friend to stir up a possible feud for the future?
The added tension helps keep the Undertaker vs. Triple H match fresh, considering we just watched these two go at it last year.
Undertaker vs. Triple H Is an Attitude Era Throwback
4 of 5When these two met at WrestleMania 27 last year, it felt like we were taken back to the late '90s and the Attitude Era.
Triple H and Undertaker were even fined for chair shots to the head, which have been banned for quite some time.
This match is being billed as "The End of an Era" and it rings true. These are two of the last men standing from an era very different from the one we're in now.
A match like Triple H vs. Undertaker at WrestleMania in the year 2012 is a rare treat, one that fans should be on the edge of their seats for.
The Cherry on Top: Hell in a Cell
5 of 5Hell in a Cell is coming to WrestleMania, and it will be glorious.
Factor in that Undertaker and Triple H are two of the most iconic wrestlers to step inside the cell, and we've got potential for one of the greatest Hell in a Cell matches of all-time.
I'll admit, Hell in Cell isn't as brutal as it used to be, and the way it's now sold as "demonic" and some evil structure when people don't even bleed anymore is just downright silly, but these two men will get it right one way or another.
I don't know what to expect exactly, but I do know that between Shawn Michaels as referee, and Hell in a Cell, this match has all the makings of a WrestleMania classic.
