Nike NFL Uniforms: Teams in Desperate Need of Makeover

The NFL is now a Nike league and changes need to be made.

Reebok did a solid job, but there is certainly room for improvement. Unfortunately, Roger Goodell has already announced that fans shouldn’t expect a great deal of difference between 2011 and 2012 (via bizjournals):

"

You are going to see a different quality in the products. They are more performance related, particularly the jerseys, which will be launched tomorrow, and of course, style.

"

The big difference will come in the technology of the uniform, with the fabric and material of the jersey. But there will be certain style changes and I’m here to offer up five suggestions for teams that need a new look:

Cleveland Browns

Is this the blandest look in professional sports? There is not one noteworthy part of the jersey.  

Can they get just a bit more personality?

Seattle Seahawks

The secret is out of the bag. The NFLShop.com lists a bevy of t-shirts for 31 of 32 teams in the league. Only Seattle is missing.

Expect them to go back towards the old look that features more silver and is a bit shinier. They’ll be inching a tad closer to the Oregon Ducks’ look and that’s just fine.

Cincinnati Bengals

The color clash that is black, orange and white is too much. All three colors shouldn’t be so prominent and simply altering the color scheme a tad would go a long way.

Miami Dolphins

This team needs a makeover from their predominately white duds that always get stained on the dirt in the middle of their home field.

Splash more light green on these guys.

Carolina Panthers

Quick, picture the Panthers uniforms in your head…hard to do right?

They sport a bland look that can easily be altered to show off the cool-looking Panthers' logo more predominately.
